Getting started!


So guys, I know it's tough to find help out there looking for web design tips, so I thought I'd make it easy for you. There's a wide variety of sites out there designed to help you brush up on your html, xml, java and whatnot, so I thought I'd ameliorate the situation and give you guys a some helpful links that can help you in a pinch. These sites are great for beginners and advanced users alike, so be sure to check them out!

w3c.org - Basically the number one site when it comes to making your own. These guys pretty much standardize scripting languages like html so that web designers all over the globe will know their work will be able to be used by users like yourself.

Web Source - This site has some basic tips and tricks for starting off beginners new to web design, like how to code some basic html and javascript.

Webs.com - If you're looking for someone to host your website and you're strapped for cash, this is the place to go. Not only will they give you your own URL for free, but they also provide you with a bunch of options to design your site without having to delve into the code too much.
